Brain

Terms of service

Last updated 31 July 2026

Brain is provided free of charge, as-is, by an independent developer. By using it you agree to what follows.

Your account

You sign in with a Google account and are responsible for keeping it secure. You must be old enough to hold a Google account in your country.

Your content

Your notes and files remain entirely yours. Brain claims no ownership and no licence beyond what is technically required to store and display them back to you. Because notes are written as ordinary Markdown files in your own Drive, you can take them elsewhere at any time without exporting anything.

Acceptable use

Do not use Brain to store or distribute unlawful material, to infringe copyright, or to attempt to gain access to other people's accounts or to the service's infrastructure.

Availability

This is a personal project, not a commercial service. It may be unavailable, may change, and may be discontinued. No uptime is guaranteed.

Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, the developer is not liable for any loss arising from use of Brain, including loss of data. Maintain your own backups of anything you cannot afford to lose.

Changes

These terms may be updated; the date above reflects the last change. Continued use after a change means you accept it.
